Paintloom is operated by Mudwall Productions LLC ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information the Paintloom app collects, how it's used, and who it's shared with.

The prompts you type. When you describe what you want turned into a puzzle, that text is sent to our server and then to Recraft AI, a third-party image generation service, to create the artwork. We don't use this text for anything besides generating your puzzle.

A photo you choose to upload. Instead of a text prompt, you can pick a photo from your device's library and turn it into a puzzle. That photo is sent to our server, which turns the photo itself into your puzzle — it is not sent to Recraft AI or any other image generation service. It is screened for policy violations (see "Content moderation" below). We only access your photo library when you choose to pick a photo — Paintloom never has standing access to it.

Your account. Paintloom requires signing in (via Google, Apple, or email) to generate puzzles. We collect the email address and display name your sign-in provider gives us, and use them only to identify your account and its credit balance — not for marketing.

A device identifier. We also use a generated identifier for your device as a secondary abuse-prevention signal, separate from your account.

Generated puzzles — the image, palette, regions, and your coloring progress — are stored securely on our servers, tied to your account, so they're available on any device you sign into. We can see this data (it isn't end-to-end encrypted), but we don't look at it except as needed to operate or debug the service. Deleting a puzzle from your library removes it from our servers too.

Recraft AI processes the prompt text and generates the underlying artwork for each puzzle. We don't share your data with any other third party, and we don't sell data to anyone.

Every prompt, uploaded photo, and generated image is automatically screened for policy violations before it reaches you, including a check against PhotoDNA, an industry-standard tool used to detect known child sexual abuse material (CSAM). A confirmed match is reported to the relevant authorities as required by law.

If a prompt is blocked, we keep its text, the reason it was flagged, and the account it came from for up to 30 days so we can catch mistakes in our filters. It's then deleted automatically, or sooner if you delete your account.

Creating an account requires an email address (via your sign-in provider). Paid credits are purchased through Stripe on the web and through Apple's or Google's in-app purchase systems on mobile — we don't see or store your payment card details ourselves.

Delete your account any time from Profile > Delete account, or email Mudwallpro@gmail.com and we'll do it for you. Deleting removes your puzzle library and the personal info tied to your account (email, display name) right away. Any unused credit balance is forfeited, not refunded. A couple of things we keep regardless: completed-purchase records (required for tax and accounting purposes) and a device-level signal used to prevent abuse — neither identifies you personally once your account info is removed.

Paintloom is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.

These terms cover your use of the Paintloom app, operated by Mudwall Productions LLC ("we," "us"). By using Paintloom, you agree to them.

Paintloom lets you generate paint-by-number puzzles from text prompts. Don't use it to generate content that's illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or violates Recraft AI's own acceptable use policies for generated content — we may limit or suspend access for accounts or devices that do.

You own the puzzles you generate through Paintloom. We don't claim any rights to your prompts or the resulting artwork. Generation is powered by a third-party AI service (Recraft AI), and output can vary or occasionally fail to match what you asked for — we don't guarantee a specific result from any prompt.

Paintloom is provided as-is. We may change, limit, or discontinue features (including daily generation limits) at any time, and we don't guarantee the app or its backend service will always be available without interruption.

To the extent permitted by law, Mudwall Productions LLC isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Paintloom.

If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
